Giving Week 2025 Is Almost Here!
September 25, 2025
New Development
Caring for our residents, employees and communities has always been at the heart of who we are. Each year, Giving Week is our way of putting that value into action to lift up organizations that make a real difference.
Since launching in 2020, Giving Week has become one of our proudest annual traditions. By focusing on nonprofits, especially those that tackle housing insecurity, homelessness and vulnerable populations, we’ve been able to channel our collective energy into lasting change. Every year, we’re reminded that when compassion and collaboration come together, lives are transformed.
Building Momentum
In the first three years of Giving Week, our community raised $40,675. In 2023, that momentum surged to $128,364. Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of employees, residents, investors, vendors and our Chairman Doug Andrews, we raised an astounding $187,724.
These results were made possible by lots of people giving what they could across the nation. Results like these prove that when small contributions add up, they create a ripple effect that leads to hope and opportunity.
What’s New in 2025
This year marks the sixth Giving Week, running from October 3–17, 2025. Over two weeks, Avanti regions will once again rally behind local nonprofits in a spirit of giving and friendly competition.
The charities selected this year continue our tradition of supporting organizations that provide stability, dignity and brighter futures:
Foster Kids KC is a dedicated non-profit organization in Kansas City, Missouri, with a mission to support and improve the lives of children in the foster care system. They work tirelessly to provide essential resources, advocacy and a supportive community for foster children and the families that care for them. By connecting foster families with valuable resources and offering educational support, they are making a profound difference in the lives of these vulnerable children.
Entryway Denver helps individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness transition to stability through career training, full-time employment and housing opportunities. In Denver, they partner with the real estate industry to create life-changing pathways to independence.
Mile High United Way brings people together to solve some of Denver’s most pressing issues. From early childhood education and homelessness to food security and economic mobility — they’re uniting people, ideas and resources to advance the common good. Some of their main focuses include giving all children a strong start, supporting education and creating economic opportunity for all.
In Arizona, Entryway Arizona provides the same transformative boost to those facing housing insecurity. Their model equips people with the tools they need for long-term self-sufficiency by upskilling at-risk individuals, supporting their journey toward work-readiness in the multi-family housing industry.
In Florida, United Way of Florida is working to mobilize communities to action so all can thrive. By focusing on educational opportunity, financial security and community resiliency, they’re creating an interconnected path that empowers individuals with the ability to create the life they envision for themselves, their families and their communities.
At Avanti, one of our guiding principles is to “Be A Good Citizen.” Giving Week is our collective opportunity to live out that value and extend our impact beyond our properties and workplaces.
We invite all employees, partners, residents and friends to join us in supporting this year’s campaign. Together, we can
help more children, families and individuals across the country build better foundations for better futures.
