Doug Andrews has been a cornerstone of Colorado’s commercial real estate, specializing in apartments and multifamily land since 1991, and achieving over $7.4 billion in transactions with partner Jeff Hawks in the past decade. His extensive client list includes major industry players like Equity Residential and Goldman Sachs, and he’s been instrumental in significant portfolio dispositions for companies such as Archstone Communities. Recognized as Denver’s top multi-housing specialist for 20 of the last 21 years, Doug co-founded Capital Real Estate and is a partner at ARA Newmark, a firm dedicated to multifamily investment. Beyond his professional achievements, he’s deeply involved in community service, notably through his work with the Colorado I Have A Dream Foundation and the Rotary Club of Denver Southeast.

Brenda Gammie, with 22 years of multifamily experience, previously served as a VP at Pinnacle Management, overseeing 8,000 units and driving operations, business development, and client relations across diverse property types. Her successful track record includes roles at MG Properties, BRE Properties, and JPI, showcasing her expertise in various markets. Outside of her professional life, Brenda is an avid athlete, having completed Ironman triathlons and marathons, while actively supporting animal rescue. In 2023, she was recognized as Arizona Executive of the Year by the Arizona Multihousing Association.

With 13 years in the apartment industry and a deep-rooted family history in multifamily, he focuses on scaling and deploying innovative technology systems to drive Avanti’s goals. His background includes roles as a research analyst and multifamily housing specialist, providing him with a strong understanding of real estate operations and a passion for technology. Based in Denver, Ian enjoys balancing his professional pursuits with outdoor activities and family time.

Mari Akers joined Avanti as SVP of Human Resources in 2022, bringing over 20 years of experience from senior executive roles at multi-billion-dollar S&P public Real Estate companies like AIMCO, Prologis, and UDR, Inc. Her career focuses on developing enterprise culture through diversity, equity, belonging, and leadership development. Actively engaged in community service, Mari serves on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver and Project Sanctuary. She holds a BS in Psychology and has completed graduate work in Education and Counseling, along with a certification in Leadership for Women.

Drew Rippey has been Avanti Residential’s General Counsel since 2020, bringing over 20 years of legal and real estate expertise, including a decade of in-house counsel experience at a national homebuilder and a global manufacturing conglomerate. His background also encompasses private practice at Denver law firms, focusing on commercial and residential real estate, acquisitions, and finance. Drew holds a B.A. in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara and a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and is admitted to practice in Colorado. He is also a member of the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations, and the Association of Corporate Counsel.

With over a decade of real estate accounting experience, spanning construction, corporate, and residential sectors, she previously managed accounting for 100+ properties at Cortland, contributing to significant departmental growth. A registered North Carolina CPA, Mary Kate holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting from Kennesaw State University.

Rob Urbanski joined Avanti Residential in 2019, bringing with him over 20 years of expertise in asset and property management. He has held key asset management roles at firms such as Aslan Realty Group, Lyon Management, and Shea Properties, overseeing a portfolio exceeding $2 billion and 12,000 units. His skillset encompasses asset management, acquisition evaluation, renovation management, and the execution of property business plans. Robert holds a degree from California State University at Long Beach.

Ahna Lockefeer joined Avanti Residential as Corporate Counsel in 2022, providing legal support for corporate and transactional matters and serving as the primary legal contact for the property management team. She transitioned from litigation to in-house counsel for multi-state real estate companies, bringing valuable experience to her role. Ahnaleza holds a B.A. from Michigan State University and a J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law and is licensed to practice in Colorado and Illinois. Originally from the Great Lakes Region, she now enjoys hiking and outdoor activities in Colorado with her family and dogs.

Prior to Avanti, he led capital formation for an affordable housing fund at PEF Advisors. Rich holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Brigham Young University and enjoys balancing his professional life with family and outdoor activities.

Jason Wine, Avanti Residential’s Vice President of Acquisitions, leverages his 27-year multifamily career to oversee asset acquisitions, market underwriting, and business development. Since 2013, he has directed $2.3 billion in multifamily acquisitions and $781 million in dispositions for Avanti, spanning a variety of transaction types and markets. His experience includes roles at Apartment Realty Advisors, where he oversaw $2.775 billion in investment sales. Jason holds degrees from the University of Colorado and Denver University and is a licensed Colorado real estate agent.

Prior to joining Avanti, she served as Senior Talent Development Manager at Cortland, supporting a portfolio of over 80,000 units, and as Director of Training and Reputation at MG Properties, where she led departmental growth during a period of significant expansion. Her experience encompasses training program development, leadership conferences, and acquisition transitions, alongside a focus on corporate culture and customer experience. Brianna holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s degree in Business Management, effectively combining her passion for teaching with her property management expertise.

Previous roles with Tower 16 Capital Partners, BH Management Services, and The Wolff Company have honed their expertise in contract negotiations, project estimation, and site management. Utilizing critical path methodology, Thomas consistently prioritizes client relations and customer satisfaction. His comprehensive knowledge of building codes and document preparation ensures projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Jennifer Beebe joined Avanti in 2021, bringing over 20 years of accomplished property management and leadership experience as a Regional Director. Starting in Investor Relations, she transitioned to onsite operations, discovering her passion for the field. She has successfully managed portfolios exceeding 2,500 units and supervised large-scale renovation projects in both third-party and owner-managed environments at companies like Alliance Residential and CWS Apartment Homes. Jennifer is dedicated to building and leading high-performing teams and holds a BA in Economics from UC Irvine and an MBA from Grand Canyon University.

Gloria’s career demonstrates a consistent ability to grow and lead within the multifamily industry.

Dave Osborne is responsible for securing equity from high-net-worth individuals, wealth managers, family offices, and institutional capital firms while managing investor relationships and sourcing new opportunities. With over a decade at Cushman & Wakefield, he procured 6.5 million square feet of agency business and negotiated over 2 million square feet in leases and sales. He also oversaw $1 billion in transactions at Grubb & Ellis and Marcus & Millichap. As Director of SV Capital, he secured $250 million in equity and $500 million in debt financing for resort projects exceeding $1.5 billion. A licensed Colorado Real Estate Managing Broker, he is a member of NAIOP, ULI, and NACOR and actively participates in the Denver Chamber of Commerce and the American Cancer Society’s Mile High Unit Board.
