Application/Screening FAQ

To reserve your apartment home, you can expect to pay the following:

  • Application fee: $150 per person
  • Administration fee: $350
  • Refundable security deposit: $500
  • Ask us about our alternative to traditional security deposits with our partner, Jetty

We have partnered with Pet Screening to ensure all pets and animals within the community are registered and properly screened. Your animals will go through the Pet Screening process.

Based on the Fido results from Pet Screening, the pet fees range from $300-400 per pet and the pet rent will range from $25-45 per pet.

All applicants, even with no pet households or assistance animals, need to complete our pet screening. Screening must be completed to continue your application. Start your screening process now if you haven’t done so already. Click here to begin!

Other fees to anticipate:

  • Amenity fee: $25/month
  • Renters Insurance, with a minimum liability of $300,000, is also required prior to picking up your keys. You’re welcome to purchase your own policy with your own provider, or work through our preferred provider. They offer policies that range from $13-17/mo.

If you require a storage unit, you can anticipate the following:

  • Small: $30
  • Large: $100

Residents are responsible for all utilities which are billed additional to rent. Electricity is set up through FPL.

We are currently open from 10am-4pm on Saturday.

We’re available Monday-Friday from 10am – 6pm.

7 months is the minimum lease term we offer.

The maximum lease term we offer is 14 months.

Each apartment home features full-sized washers and dryers.

AT&T is the preferred provider in our community.

500 Ocean offers a parking garage with one free assigned space per home. A second parking space is $50 a month. We also have two electric car charging stations.

Your credit is run at the time of application. We are provided a simple approval or denial. Some denials may be able to be approved with a higher security deposit based on creditworthiness. Bankruptcies are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

We are excited to announce our partnership with Union Credit Builder, a powerful program designed to help you build your credit and unlock new financial possibilities. By opting in to Union Credit Builder, your on-time rent payments will be reported to all three major credit bureaus—Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. Each month you make a timely payment, your credit score will receive a positive boost, helping you establish a solid credit history. Beginning January 17, 2024, residents can enroll here.
